It's snowing!!! |
Kayden:
On Tuesday, it started snowing and we worked on Pastor Jr’s house and were
planning to resupport and tar his trailer roof. Instead, [because of the snow] he changed the plan, and
so since we had nothing to do, we worked on packing food in the food bank and
digging the trench.

Near the end of the day, we had a church service with Pastor Jr. During the service, some people got to share a personal story where God helped them in a tough situation. It was inspirational to me how vulnerable they were in front of us. It moved me. After all the work today was very hard but I'm glad I got to help this amazing community. I look forward to doing some more tomorrow :)
Mira:
It was snowy and cold this morning.

Brrr, it's cold out here! |
After devotions, our group put drywall up downstairs and put mud in the cracks.

We ventured outside to set up some scaffolding, then continued to put drywall on the ceiling.

Later, many had fun with the cats as we ate dinner. 😻
After dinner, we were blessed by the testimonies of the local people as well as people from TKA, then sang worship songs both in English and the Diné language.
Overall, the day was a wonderful experience to bless others and learn about new cultures.
[We also enjoyed some relaxing activities like solving puzzles and coloring together!]
