Our team of 33 TKA students and 6 adults has safely arrived at Navajo Nation (in Arizona), where we are excited to serve the Tse Ee Gai church and its community. We pray that the Lord will give us many opportunities to be a light to everyone we meet this week. Each day, 1-2 student bloggers will tell us a little about their experience!

Sunday, April 2–Day 0 (Travel Day)

Today was a pretty long day. We arrived at the airport at 7AM and got to our Navajo Nation site at 8:30PM due to car troubles and other things. The day was not without fun though. My car group won the scavenger hunt looking for things as simple as one way road signs and as rare as a prop air plane. Our total points were 2,615. We also had fun telling stories and laughing at jokes. Also when we arrived at the site we were greeted by two dogs and two cats. It was a great start to the trip.
